Yes. We regularly work with families coming home from Mercy Gilbert and Banner Gateway, and we communicate with care teams as directed by the family. We do not provide medical care ourselves, and we work alongside any home health nurses your doctor orders.
Most Wellby engagements start at a 4-hour minimum shift. We can walk through what fits your family in the free consultation.
Arizona does not license non-medical home care agencies, so there is no state license to look up. The standard that matters is the one an agency holds itself to. Every Wellby caregiver carries a current Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Department of Public Safety, which is issued only after a state and federal criminal history check. Arizona requires that card for state-contracted care. We require it for all of ours. Wellby is also insured and bonded, and our caregivers are W-2 employees covered by workers compensation and general liability insurance.
